ABOUT KONTEJNER:
KONTEJNER is engaged in curatorial work, organization of art festivals, public cultural events, artwork production, education, publishing and social theory. KONTEJNER´s main field of interest is progressive contemporary intermedia art, sound art and experimental music, with special emphasis on projects investigating the role and meaning of science, technology and the body in our society. KONTEJNER is focusing on relevant and current phenomena, especially within provocative, fascinating and intriguing subjects and topics, as well as those perceived by the society as taboos.
ABOUT THE RESIDENCY AT KONTEJNER:
KONTEJNER residencies for the European Media Art Platform are organized at KONTEJNER venue in Odranska 1/1 in Zagreb, opened in 2023. Residencies are organized in collaboration with different organisations and institutions from Zagreb and Croatia, depending on artwork production requirements. The artist will have access to standard computing, video and audio equipment (computers, monitors, printer, projectors, LCD screens, audio system, Internet access etc.). Any special needs for facilities, technologies etc. will be arranged by KONTEJNER with its partners and associates.
